A Reflexology treatment is an opportunity to take some much needed time out and to relax, rebalance and re-energise your body and your mind

Reflexology can help with back and neck pain, general aches and pains, sinusitis, asthma, menstrual problems, migraines and headaches and digestive complaints.  It can also help boost recovery from illness, strengthening the immune system and calming the nervous system.

What happens during a Reflexology treatment?
The feet are massaged using a variety of techniques then a comfortable pressure will be applied to points on the feet, called reflexes, using the thumb and fingertips. These reflexes on the feet correspond to organs and areas of the body where imbalances can be detected.

You should not worry about what your feet look like or whether you have lumps, bumps or hard skin and so on. Everyone has different feet – no two people are the same. The touch of a reflexologist is quite firm and it is very unusual for someone to feel their feet ‘ticklish’ whilst being treated.

Who can have Reflexology?
The therapy is suitable for people of all ages, including children. There are however some serious illnesses, such as thrombosis, where treatment would not be suitable. Please ask if you are in any doubt.
